I've been trying eastern medicine. I've been having a lot trouble sleeping so my doctor has prescribed to me a mix of herbs he calls "happy tea", he has me soaking my feet in yellow wine every night (better than drinking the nasty stuff), then taping a paste of herbs and vinegar to a pressure point on my foot. He says all my "yang has gone to (my) head" and that's why i can't sleep at night. I didn't know whether to slap him or thank him. No one has ever told me that before. And he has given me "ear seeds" which means, no i am not growing new ears, but that little black seeds have been taped onto pressure points on my ears--i have to "stimulate" them 5 times daily....Jackie won't be seen with me when I am doing this (its just pushing on the seeds)--she says its too scandalous. Progress with sleeping has been happening, little by little, despite the odd circumstances.
I went kite flying on Sunday (under protest, as usual for anything that's remotely perky) with Jackie, Heidi, James, Si Si and some other friends. After walking around for hours looking for an app
ropriate place, and we found a completely inappropriate spot on a bridge over the lake. Due to my inability to tie knots I lost both kites into the lake. ...sad sad day.-kite in the lake
-sad day
-niu niu doing just fine
